Description:

MetLife (Client) is running version 6.3.x of Sun Directory Server (with 5.x password schema) in Production and is migrating to Oracle Unified Directory 11g (OUD). In ‘Phase One’ of a multi-phased migration, Hub City Media (HCM) will built scalable architecture to handle initial estimated nine million (9M) entries.

HCM MSS will be responsible for supporting the following Client platforms:

Oracle Unified Directory (OUD)
Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM)
Solaris Version 11 (14 Physical Servers)

Tier 3 Managed Support Services provides:

For Production, Integration, QA and Development environments, provide incident and service call support and resolution
For Production, Integration, QA and Development environments, provide outage break / fix resolution* (*Resolution is defined as reasonable workaround, short-term fix including detailed plan for long-term solution)
For Production, Integration, QA and Development environments, inform and implement on behalf of Client the following patches using the Client Change Management Process:
1. Bundle patches
2. Feature patches
3. Non-security related patches
4. Patches mandated by Compliance or PMO to comply with SOX and PCI requirements
5. System quarterly security patching for in scope systems
For Production, Integration, QA and Development environments, provide scheduled and unscheduled system restart monitoring and support as approved by Client
For Production environment, provide scheduled mutually agreed upon Health Checks and standard HCM Health Check automation functions
For Production environment, provide Support Metrics Reporting as outlined in section 1.7
For Production environment, provide proactive monitoring using OEM and System Log review (daily)
For Production, Integration, QA and Development environments, provide Vendor Service Request reporting and tracking
For Production, Integration, QA and Development environments, provide support during regular Business Hours, excluding Holidays as specified in the HCM Holiday Calendar, for system changes in support of Production deployments
